At 70,000 m² it is the largest ancient castle complex in the world, perched above Prague for over 1,100 years. St. Vitus Cathedral dominates — Gothic spires, Mucha's Art Nouveau stained glass, the bejewelled Chapel of St. Wenceslas with semi-precious stones embedded in the walls.
